💪 +1 Muscle to Arm Wrestle

Dumbbells Guide

All dumbbell tiers with costs, muscle per step, cost-efficiency analysis, and upgrade recommendations.

Dumbbells are the core progression mechanic in +1 Muscle to Arm Wrestle. Each dumbbell tier multiplies the muscle you gain per step. Upgrading your dumbbell is the single most impactful thing you can do to accelerate your progress, especially in early and mid game.

Dumbbells are purchased with Wins at the in-game shop. The cost scales dramatically with each tier, from free (Basic) to 1 Trillion Wins (Universal). Your goal is always to reach the next tier as quickly as possible, since each upgrade multiplies your earning speed for all future Wins.

2 Upgrade Priority

Tier 1–3: Basic to Steel (0–1K Wins)

The first three tiers are very affordable and provide the foundation of your muscle gains. Buy Iron (100 Wins) immediately when you start, then save for Steel (1K Wins). The jump from 1x to 5x muscle per step is a 5x total increase that makes early opponents trivial.

Tier 4–5: Golden to Diamond (10K–100K Wins)

This is where the game opens up. Golden Dumbbell (12x) is a major power spike that lets you farm Gym Bro and King Boxer efficiently. Diamond (30x) prepares you for the jump to Fantasy World. Focus all your Wins on reaching Diamond before spending on pet eggs.

Tier 6–7: Crystal to Candy (1M–10M Wins)

These mid-tier dumbbells are where the costs start to feel significant. Crystal (75x) and Candy (200x) are essential for progressing through Fantasy World opponents. Farm Cookie King and Skelly Giant to earn the Wins you need.

Tier 8–10: Cyber to Universal (100M–1T Wins)

The endgame dumbbells. Cyber (500x) gets you into The Rock Zone. Galaxy (1500x) opens Cyber City. Universal (5000x) is the ultimate goal. At this stage, you should have high rebirth levels and strong pets to help farm the massive Win requirements.

3 Cost-Efficiency Analysis

Not all upgrades are equally efficient. Here are the best value tiers based on the muscle-per-step increase relative to the cost:

  • Best Value: Iron Dumbbell (T2) — 100 Wins for a 2x jump from the Basic. This is a no-brainer purchase and should be your very first upgrade.
  • Great Value: Steel Dumbbell (T3) — 1K Wins for a 2.5x jump. Still very efficient and affordable within the first hour of play.
  • Solid Value: Golden Dumbbell (T4) — 10K Wins for a 2.4x jump. The multiplier increase is strong relative to the cost.
  • Lowest Value: Crystal Dumbbell (T6) — 1M Wins for a 2.5x jump. The cost-to-jump ratio starts to decrease here, but the absolute muscle gain is still very significant.
  • Important Note: Even the least efficient upgrades are still worth buying because muscle per step is multiplicative with pets and rebirth. Every tier you skip is lost potential.

When to Upgrade

  • Upgrade immediately when: You have enough Wins and there is no upcoming opponent you need the Wins for. Dumbbell upgrades always pay for themselves over time.
  • Wait briefly when: You are 50–100 Wins away from being able to beat a high-reward opponent. Farm the opponent first, then upgrade.
  • Never skip tiers: There is no benefit to saving up for a tier two levels ahead. Buy each tier sequentially — the intermediate upgrade helps you earn Wins faster for the next one.
  • After rebirth: You keep your dumbbell after rebirthing, so your first upgrade after a rebirth is the next dumbbell tier you could not previously afford.
